A great address!

Publié le par Tristan & Vanina

We went to Big Nick’s on october 8th. It’s a small restaurant on Broadway, at 77th street. It opened in 1962. Tristan discovered this restaurant two years ago when he was with his friend William in New York.

The card of the menu has 15 or 20 pages (you can read it if you click here) ! It’s the biggest that I have never seen ! We can choose salads, hamburgers, pizzas, potatoes, soup, etc. When the weather is warm enough we can eat outside on a small terrace on the pavement. It’s a typical american restaurant and it’s pretty cheap.

After to have taken several minutes to read this endless menu card, Tristan chose a salad with lots of things inside and me (Vanina) I chose a club hamburger.  When the waitress brought us our dishes she gaves to Tristan a salad bowl, it was a very big salad with chicken, bacon, bread, eggs, etc. My meal was too big for me, I had a club sandwich but instead to have ham inside, I had hamburger meat and bacon. It was so tasty ! We can’t finish our plate.

We came back to Times Square (on the 42nd street) on foot. It lasted approximately 45 minutes, it was really beautiful. On the way back we were able to digest all this good American food !

At the letter « A » there’s Bick Nick’s and at the letter « B », there’s Times Square. So you can see the way that we took by feet to come back to the center.

Lets see some pictures of Big Nick's:
