Ground Zero - The New Area of The World Trade Center
Everybody remember the day of September 11th, 2001, when the World Trade Center was attacked. It make almost 10 years. After the collapse of both towers, there was an empty place of 65 000 m2 ; it is called « The Ground Zero* of The World Trade Center ».
At this time, the city is building five new skyscrapers. They will be on the list of the ten highest skyscrapers of New York. There will be a memorial on the area where were the Twins Towers : it will be two huge holes filled with water and inside them the names of the victims will be writed. A new subway station will also be there.
The main tower will be called One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower), it will be 1776 feet. This number remind the Year of the Independence of the United States. It will have 108 floors.
The disposition of the buildings will allow to have all the day the sunshine on the place where were the Twins Towers.
(* Basically Ground Zero is a term to show a place in the ground where a bomb explosed.)
