Last Sights of New York
I have to admit that I write this article a little bit late. Sorry for this delay. Now, Vanina and me live in San Francisco, since December 18th. As we had explained it in our first article, San Francisco is the city in which we are going to make the second part of our stay, during 6 months.
I write this article to talk about the last moments we have lived in New York. In fact, I am going to present to you all of this through some pictures. But first of all I want to give you some explanations.
As you had been able to notice, my parents came to visit us at the end of November. One day we went in a famous restaurant which is called Buddakan. Moreover, it’s in this restaurant that a Sex And The City’s scene was played (that’s a famous movie). When we went out of this restaurant my father asked to the driver of a huge limo to bring us back to the hotel. It was a very good moment. This short 20 minutes’ trip in a limo is an unforgettable memory for us. More down in the article you will see some pictures.
As we have never written about Brooklyn Bridge in this blog, I want to talk a little about it. This bridge has been inaugurated in 1883 and it is two kilometers long. It connects Manhattan to Brooklyn. We saw it with my parents. Thus you will see later some photos of the bridge and of Brooklyn.
Then, after the visit of my parents, December had begun. It is necessary to know that New York is a very well decorated city during Christmas time. Indeed, there is a huge Christmas tree in front of the Rockefeller Center. There are choirs which sing Christmas carols in some places of the city, and there are also musicians who try to collect some money for the Salvation Army. More, some buildings are extremely well decorated ! The atmosphere in the city was very pleasant, you will see some picutres at the more down.
Before leaving New York, Vanina and me absolutely wished to cross Central Park in length, from Harlem to the Apple Store. More down you will see some wonderful pictures that we took in the park, in particular around the big lake of Central Park. We can confuse this lake with The Hudson River or with the ocean, but that’s a lake! The last visit that we made before leaving New York was the district of Tribeca, this word is actually an abbreviation which means "Triangle Below Canal Street". That’s an old industrial area of New York. These old industrial buildings were renewed, they became many tremendeous flats where several stars live, like Robert De Niro for example! You will see some pictures.
The last pictures that you will see at the very bottom of this article are a mix (in french we say a patchwork, but I’m not sure that it makes sense in English) of the last pictures that we took in New York. I hope that you liked this article. I promise that we will soon write an article about our arrival and our life in San Francisco!

We went in a french restaurant with many EF's friends. What a great evening!
I miss you guys...
After the meal we met a star, Mrs. Lynn Cohen alias Magda! She played in the movie Sex And The City. What an incredible coincidence because Vanina and me had eaten in an other restaurant a few days before which is a place where the film has been shooted!
Nevermind...
Goodbye EF Tarrytown... :-(
